Easton Police and Fire departments and PA’s rescue team were at the scene of the body recovery in the back of the strip mall on Larry Holmes Drive on Saturday, July 30, the report says citing Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek. Suspect At Large Following Easton Robbery, Police Say Authorities are seeking the public’s help tracking down a suspect who remains at large following a robbery in Easton. The robbery occurred on the 100 block of S. 15th Street around 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, Easton Police said in a release on Tuesday, July 5. The male suspect — pictured above — was last seen running north on S. 15th Street, according to police. Officers responded to a call of shots fired at the 600 building of the Canal Park Apartments shortly after 11:35 p.m. Tuesday and found a 63-year-old woman with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, Easton Police said. The college’s alarm system made the loudspeaker announcement around 4:30 a.m. after the initial investigation, which was assisted by Easton Police, the report says.
