Severe Thunderstorm Warnings Issued In These NJ, PA Counties
The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm warnings and warned of 60 mph winds across parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania Friday, June 14.
At 4:15 p.m., the NWS issued the warnings for Sussex and Warren counties in New Jersey, and Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton, in PA.
Newton, Washington, Jim Thorpe, Stroudsburg, Reading, Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton, are also being warned of severe storms.
The warnings are in effect through 5 p.m.

Three Pennsylvania residents were hurt, one seriously, in a crash on Route 78 in New Jersey, authorities said.
A 58-year-old Nazareth, PA man was parked on the right shoulder of the highway around 4:50 a.m. near milepost 39.2 in Warren Township Sunday, Feb. 18, when his vehicle was struck by a Chevrolet SUV, New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said.
The Subaru driver was seriously injured while the Chevrolet driver, a 32-year-old Easton man, and passenger, a 31-year-old Easton man, were moderately hurt.

Pespas, 55, of Phillipsburg, has been found safe and was home with his wife, Sue, directors Sam Lipman-Stern and Adam Bhala Lough said on Pespas' Instagram account Friday, Oct. 27.
Pespas had been missing since Sept. 29, when he was seen in Easton, PA, and later at a bar in the Pittsburg area.

An Easton man was intoxicated when he crashed into a tree in Warren County and fled into a nearby farm with two others, state police allege.
Troopers responded to a Honda Accord crash into a tree at Routes 632 and 643 in Franklin Township just after 1:20 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, NJSP Tpr. II Charles Marchan told DailyVoice.com.
