Montanaro, 29, of Grand Island, FL, was on her phone and struggling to stay in her lane on Main Street in Flanders when officers were responding to the call around 7:20 a.m. Sept. 3, Mount Olive Police Chief Stephen Beecher said. Authorities Bust 58 Suspects In Mercer County ATM Thefts -- And Only 8 Are NJ Residents They flooded Mercer County by the dozens, hailing from New York City, Long Island and Westchester County, armed with bogus debit cards.  They nearly returned home with more than $250,000 stolen from Santander Bank ATMs across New Jersey.  Police in a half dozen counties were able to stop 58 of them since Tuesday -- and seize more than a dozen suspect vehicles, a handgun and drugs, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Man Gave Note Soliciting Prostitution, $100 To Franklin McDonald's Drive-Thru Worker, PD Says A Hardyston man was taken into custody after handing a note soliciting prostitution, $100 and marijuana to a McDonald's worker in the drive-through window, authorities said. Nearly $18,000, five pounds of pot and other drugs and paraphernalia were seized from Terrence O'Leary's home on Sept. 11 following the execution of a search warrant two days after the Route 23 McDonald's incident, Franklin police said. O'Leary was arrested at his home on charges relating to drugs and prostitution, and released pending a court appearance, the NJHerald says.
