A funeral service is scheduled this week for 32-year-old Fair Lawn native William "Billy" Hennecke. Hennecke was graduated from Fair Lawn High School and Bergen County Tech, where he studied carpentry, his obituary says. He went on to work as an irrigation technician for Garden State Irrigation and Lighting. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing in local lakes and rivers and riding dirt bikes with family and friends. The two-alarm blaze broke out on the second floor of the 2½-story home at North Prospect and Central avenues shortly before 6 a.m. It was knocked down within 45 minutes. One high school in Hunterdon County has donated several boxes of gloves and more than 1,600 surgical masks to a local medical center in the last week alone, reports say. A Linden man was killed in a two-alarm blaze that broke out at his apartment, authorities said. Cyril Spinks, 26, was inside of his second-floor McCandless Street apartment when the fire broke out around 8 p.m. Monday, authorities said.
