Boonton Man Fatally Struck On Route 78 Was 'Amazing Musician, Incredible Friend' A 29-year-old Boonton man was fatally struck by two cars that kept driving on a Newark highway early Sunday morning, authorities said. Dominick P. DeNegri was hit by separate vehicles heading westbound -- both of which kept driving -- on Route 78 near milepost 55.4 after he got out of his vehicle around 3:30 a.m., New Jersey State Trooper Alejandro Goez said.
