Two Injured In Truck-suv Crash On Route 80: State Police Two people were injured after an SUV collided with a truck on Route 80 in Parsippany on Monday, Feb. 12, authorities said. At 1:21 p.m., New Jersey State Troopers responded to the crash between an Honda SUV and a Freightliner box truck on Route 80 East at milepost 46.2, Troy McNair of the New Jersey State Police said.  The truck was run off the roadway, struck a guardrail and began to spill diesel fluid, McNair said. The Allamuchy Fire Dept. responded to the accident in the westbound lanes near milepost 19 in Allamuchy around 12 p.m. on Sunday, August 15, the squad said. Upon arrival, crews found the trailer on its side with a ruptured fuel tank leaking diesel fuel onto the highway. The HazMat team and Hope Fire Department was called to the scene due to the size of the spill, AFD said. A wrecker was towing the roll-off container, which hit the Maple Avenue bridge on the northbound highway in Fair Lawn around 10 a.m. The crash also pierced the fuel tank, creating a diesel spill attended to by Fair Lawn firefighters.
