Tornado May Have Touched Down In These PA, NJ Towns
A tornado may have hit Lehigh Valley and Delaware River towns Monday, Aug. 7.
The National Weather Service sent survey teams to evaluate an area west of Milford in New Jersey, as well as areas in eastern Allentown, western Bethlehem, and Hellertown/Coopersburg in Pennsylvania.

Lehigh Valley native and beloved Jersey Shore fisherman William “Bill” Bruce Karp, Jr. died at his home on Sunday, Nov. 27 aged 41.
Born in Fountain Hill, Bill attended the Saucon Valley School District, where he was a football and track and field letterman before graduating in 1999, his obituary says.
He went to Moravian College and has always loved fishing and boating, as well as hunting. He was a big fan of the San Francisco 49ers and Penn State.
Bill lived in Hellertown before moving to Point Pleasant, where he lived at the time of his passing, his memorial says.

18 Nabbed In Massive Hunterdon County Meth, Heroin, Cocaine, Suboxone Bust: Prosecutor
Eighteen people were arrested and charged as part of a several-month investigation into the distribution of meth, heroin, cocaine, and suboxone in Hunterdon County, authorities announced on Monday, Sept. 19.
The investigation was launched by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office with assistance from the Clinton Township Police Department Investigative Division after numerous complaints were received regarding narcotic activity along Route 22 in Clinton Township, Prosecutor Renée Robeson said.

Lehigh Valley Mom Of 2, Home Health Aid Ashley Weaver Dies, 33
Lehigh Valley mother of two and home health aid Ashley L. Weaver died March 8 at St. Luke’s in Allentown. She was 33.
Born in Allentown, Weaver worked as a home health aid, her obituary says.
She attended Emmaus High School and spent time living in Pen Argyl, according to her Facebook page.
Weaver lived in Coopersburg at the time of her death, her memorial says.
She is survived by her parents, Susan and David Geist; step-parents, Jeffrey Funk, Sr. and Wendy Geist; daughters, Madison and Summer Geist; sister, Amanda Doyne, as well as numerous extended family members and close friends.
