Shoplifter Left Behind, Accomplice Busted Months Later In Morris County: Cops
A 23-year-old Queens man was arrested by Denville police on Tuesday, Nov. 28 after escaping officers back in September, authorities said.
Elijah Cowan, 23 and Aziz James, a 24-year-old Queens resident, were among three people stealing from the local CVS on Sunday, Sept. 17, police in Denville said.
Cowan and another man escaped in a Jeep Wrangler, officers said. Police tried to stop the car, but terminated the pursuit due to possible dangers to the public and Cowan's reckless driving, officers said.

Paramus PD: Car Burglary Couple Swiped $50K In Jewelry, $28,000 In Cash In Only One Day
An out-of-state couple who targeted parked cars in and around Paramus stole a whopping $28,000 in cash, $50,000 worth of jewelry and $3,000 worth of clothing in one day, authorities said.
Area police were on alert after the enormous haul the day before when Paramus Officer Justin Sicari spotted a blue Nissan Rogue with Florida plates parked at the Garden State Plaza around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, Police Chief Robert Guidetti said.
Sicari and Officer Nicholas Perna watched and waited, and eventually saw the couple enter the Rogue and drive off, the chief said.

Ex-Employees Of Franklin Lakes Cellphone Store Charged With Theft, Investigation Continues
Two now-former employees of a cellphone store in Franklin Lakes were charged with using customers’ information to steal from them, authorities announced.
Franklin Lakes police conducted an “extensive and comprehensive” investigation over the past several months before filing theft charges against both Robert Q. Hansford, 28, of Clifton, and Haleem K. Mitchell, 25, of East Orange, Capt. Mark McCombs said.
Mitchell, who’d worked with Hansford at TS Mobility AT&T on Franklin Avenue, also was charged with conspiracy, the captain said on Tuesday, July 18.
