World's Largest Indoor Go-Kart Course Opening Soon In NJ
A go-kart track — billed as the world’s largest indoor multi-level race course of its kind — is set to open as early as December in Edison, according to Supercharged Entertainment. The company already runs large go-kart arenas in Wrentham, MA, and southeast Connecticut. Newark Woman Nabbed For Role In CT McLaren Sports Car Theft: Police
A Newark woman is facing charges for her alleged role in stealing a sports car valued at over $200,000 from a Connecticut home. New Canaan Police were called just after 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, on reports that a 2020 McLaren GT sports car had been stolen from inside the garage of a home located in the northwest section of town. A New Jersey man has been charged in connection with a double-fatal Connecticut crash that killed his wife and another passenger last summer in Connecticut, authorities said. Juan Fernandez, 38, of Union City, surrendered to police on Wednesday, Aug. 17, and was charged with two counts of negligent homicide, among other charges in connection with the crash on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021, in Middlesex County, on Route 15 in Woodbridge. A man and woman were found shot dead -- along with a gun -- in an SUV parked on a Paterson street Friday afternoon, responders said. The bodies were found in an older-model Chevy Traverse with Connecticut license plates parked on Getty Avenue between two strip clubs down the road from St. Joseph's University Medical Center at 11:40 a.m. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. A 22-year-old driver from Connecticut was hurt after her SUV flipped on Route 80, state police said.
