Dogs Freeze In Crate Abandoned Outside Of Morris County Shopping Center: Authorities
Two pit bulls were found outside in a crate behind a shopping center in freezing temperatures in Mt. Olive on Sunday, Jan. 21, Common Sense for Animals said on Facebook. The two dogs, one female and one male, were found on Goldmine Road and Tanglewood Road with a blanket over the crate so no one would see the dogs, Common Sense for Animals Said. Trapped Kitten Rescued From Wheel Well At Warren County ShopRite
Emergency crews were quick to save a kitten that had become trapped in a vehicle’s wheel well in the parking lot of a Warren County ShopRite. The Tri-County Volunteer Fire Company responded to the store on Route 57 in Mansfield Township around 5 p.m., the department said. Chief Kostenbader worked alongside Schooley's Mountain Fire Co. 3’s Chief Welch, who had been inside the store during the initial call, authorities said. ‘Purrfect Ending:’ Warren County Construction Workers Rescue Kittens From Skid Steer Engine
A pair of kittens were rescued from the engine compartment of a skid steer in Warren County Thursday morning in what police say was a “purrfect ending.” Workers at a construction site for the new QuickChek on Mountain Avenue contacted Hackettstown Police after hearing meows coming from the skid steer’s engine department just before 9:40 a.m., authorities said. Authorities in one New Jersey town were looking for the owner of a pair of loose chickens creating a "fowl" disturbance at a local McDonald's Tuesday.
