When John Schwenck's dad was 25 years old in 1990, he rode is bicycle more than 3,700 miles from New Jersey to California and camped out along the way. A few years later, Schwenck's mom joined his father for another bike trip to Alaska. This one, though, was cut short, though, when the couple found out their son was planning an arrival much sooner than they expected.
