Clifton Teen Already Jailed In One Passaic Shooting Charged With Another Four days after authorities said he fired a gun at a sedan full of rivals in Passaic, a Clifton teen squeezed off 10 shots at another vehicle on the other side of the city, authorities said. Emmanuel Bernard, 18, was seized late last month in connection with a shootout on Brinkerhoff Place near Van Winkle Avenue shortly before 6 a.m. June 18. Bernard fired a handgun at a passing Honda Accord, then ducked when three men emerged from a Jeep Cherokee and began shooting at him, authorities said at the time. No injuries were reported. Popular Grocery Chain Corrado's Market Shutters Wayne Location Corrado's has closed its location in Wayne, the store confirmed to Daily Voice. The supermarket was located at 201 Berdan Ave. at the Point View Shopping Center and had been open since 2008. Corrado's still has markets in Fairfield, Denville and Clifton, according to its website. Corrado's did not give a reason for closing the Wayne location. A sign was taped to the front door announcing the closure, saying the decision was not taken lightly.  "We understand the impact it may have on you," the sign said. "Please visit any of our stores for your specialty needs."

Drowning Boy, 9, Resuscitated After He's Pulled From Pool At Boys & Girls Club A drowning 9-year-old boy was resuscitated by staff members after being pulled from the pool at the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton on Thursday, responders said. The Morris Plains youngster may have had a medical emergency shortly after 2:30 p.m. July 6, they said. "Staff noticed immediately, pulled the child from the pool and conducted CPR," Clifton Police Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said. The child then began breathing again, the lieutenant said. He was conscious and alert after being taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center, Bracken said.
