A 43-year-old Passaic man apparently thought he could traffic more than 450 child pornography videos on Google and WhatsApp without being caught, authorities said. A previous sex offender from the Jersey Shore is headed to federal prison for 15 years for an online sexual relationship he had with a 13-year-old girl in Canada. David M. Frew, a 42-year-old registered sex offender from Little Egg Harbor, had served time for sending pornographic images to state investigators posing as minors in Pennsylvania in 2008. Bergen Mechanic, 63, Charged With Collecting Child Porn
A 63-year-old mechanic from River Vale was arrested Thursday on child porn charges, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella confirmed. John DeFilippo was taken into custody by members of the prosecutor’s Cyber Crimes Unit during a June 8 raid at his Westwood Avenue home, Musella said.
