Support is on the rise for a Warren County father left with what loved ones are calling “catastrophic” injuries following a serious fall several months ago. Doug Ferry is in need of home nurses and home care after suffering a bad fall in April, including a neck fracture, spinal cord bruise, and other spinal cord injuries, according to a GoFundMe launched out of Blairstown by Karen Ferrone, who says he was just sent home. “We just can't do it all ourselves, we need to bring people in for round the clock care,” Ferrone writes. Route 206 in Morris County was closed due to a serious crash just before during rush hour traffic on Friday, June 2, authorities said. A vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer near Fox Chase Road, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Public Information Officer Megan Knab told Daily Voice. Chester EMT, Firefighter Couple Recover After Motorcycle Crash
The community is coming together for a Chester couple who are recovering together in the hospital after a motorcycle crash. More than $1,200 had been raised for Jason Dilley and his girlfriend Kelly Banko on a GoFundMe as of Tuesday afternoon, three days after the accident. Dilley is the chief of the the Chester First Aid squad and a firefighter with the Chester Fire Company. Banko is a Chester First Aid Squad volunteer and nursing student at Villanova, who plans on serving as a sailor in the U.S. Navy after graduation.
