Police have identified the two people killed in a three-vehicle crash on a Newark bridge over the weekend. Anaji Ryan, of Carteret, was driving a Ford Focus which collided with a Dodge Durango and Subaru Outback on the Raymond Boulevard Bridge in the city’s Ironbound section around 4 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. A phone call claiming to protect a Long Island resident's savings ended in a $20,000 scam carried out by a 51-year-old New Jersey man, according to authorities. : 2.6 Magnitude Aftershock Rattles New Jersey
Yet another aftershock rattled New Jersey. This one 2.6 in magnitude just after 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, the USGS website shows. This one had an epicenter just east of the Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone (Somerset County). A 2.9 magnitude aftershock was reported last Saturday, April, 27 in the same area. People as far as Massachusetts and Connecticut reported feeling the earthquake, but it appeared to have been clearest felt in the Garden State, with Boonton, Caldwell, and Carteret residents reporting a II or III on the MMI scale.

Former NJ Middle School Teacher Sexually Assaulted Student: Prosecutor
A 32-year-old former teacher from North Bergen has been charged with sexually assaulting a student at Carteret Middle School, authorities said. Jeffrey Munguia was also charged on Wednesday, April 24 with endangering the welfare of a child, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Carterest Police Chief Dennis McFadden. New Jersey is continuing to invest in production. The New Jersey Economic Developing Authority announced on Wednesday, April 10, it has approved $9.5 million in funding to support five projects under the Film and Digital Media Studio Infrastructure Program.
