Paul Seo, Little Ferry, matched the first five numbers — 34, 55, 59, 65, and 70 — missing only the Mega Ball, which was 12. Seo opted for a lump sum payment, taking home $651,000 after required withholdings.

A man was arrested twice in 13 days last month in Mansfield Township for theft, authorities said.
On Thursday, Aug. 15 at 11:53 a.m., police responded to a BP gas station on Route 57 after a man, Leiner Mera, stole money from the cash register, Mansfield Township police said in a release. Video provided to officers showed Mera leaning over the counter and removing $135 from the lottery register, police said.

Drug Den On Wheels: Closter Officer Stops Driver With Wide Assortment, Police Say
A Closter police officer found what amounted to a drug den on wheels when he stopped a driver just before midnight.
It was two minutes before the calendar turned to Thursday, April 18, when Officer Anthony Lofaro stopped 22-year-old Mexican national Rafael Guerrero Gonzalez at the BP station on Closter Dock Road just off Piermont Road, Capt. Vincent Aiello said.
Lofaro immediately smelled pot, the captain said.
