Cookie Chain Replacing Shuttered Bergen Ice Cream Shop
A New York City cookie chain will be replacing a popular Bergen County ice cream shop that shuttered last month, BoozyBurbs reports.
Chip City is slated to move into the Ridgewood storefront, previously occupied by Ice Cream by Mike. The ice creamery's last day in business was Sunday, Aug. 14.
The cookie shop has 12 stores across New York City and offers a variety of flavors including blueberry cheesecake, chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter, funfetti, oatmeal apple pie, PB&J, s'mores and more.
Chip City also has plans to open a Hoboken storefront, according to its website. No word…

A new chicken joint has opened in Flemington, with 14 more locations planned across New Jersey.
The menu boasts a variety of breaded-chicken meals including chicken tenders, wraps, sandwiches, salads, cake jars and more.
Seventeen house sauces are also featured.
The Route 31 restaurant is owned by franchisees Paul and Jay Patel, who are at the helm of the New Jersey expansion, BoozyBurbs reports.
It was not clear where in the Garden State the other 14 stores will open.

Chopt Coming To Bergen Town Center
It's all in the name: Chopt.
The popular "creative salad company" will soon be coming to Bergen Town Center, BoozyBurbs reports.
Customers can pick a salad from a menu or customize their own. Menu items include Mediterranean, Harvest, Chicken Tinga, Santa Fe, Classic Cobb and more.
Customizable salads come with a choice of greens, up to four "core choppings" (celery, cucumbers, corn, olives, etc.), cheese, grains/beans, "crunch" (nuts, croutons, pita chips, dried fruit) and "the goods" (avocado, grilled chicken, tofu, smoked bacon and more).
