Teen Nabbed After Pulling Gun During Bogus Bicycle Sale In Wallington Park, Prosecutor Says
A Bloomfield teenager with a conviction already on his record was charged with pulling a reverse online bicycle sale robbery at a park in Wallington last month. Cristopher Pacheco-Rosario, 19, arranged to sell a bicycle to one of a group of five juveniles at Samuel Nelkin County Park on Oct. 24 through Facebook Marketplace, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Five different staff members at a Saddle Brook school received the same emailed bomb threat, said authorities who cleared the building, conducted a search and found nothing harmful. An unresponsive 2-year-old child died at Holy Name Medical Center after being brought there from a home in Bergenfield early Sunday evening, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella confirmed. A pedestrian was struck and severely injured outside the Ridgewood Public Library late Monday afternoon.
