Car Crashes In Parsippany Sinkhole Caused By Water Main Break, Street Closed For Repairs Repairs to a morning water main break in Parsippany closed local streets Sunday. The break on Baldwin Road between Route 46 East and Troy Road caused a sinkhole, which was only reported after a vehicle crashed, police said. No one was injured. Starbucks, the PAL and other local businesses were without water. Police did not know when repairs would be finished as of 5:30 p.m. Smith Field is only accessible from the Route 46 East off ramp or by parking in the lot next to the Empire Diner.
