Woman Charged After Horse, Sheep, Ram Found In Horrific Conditions At Warren County Property
A Warren County woman was charged with animal cruelty after the discovery of a malnourished horse, sheep, and ram living in horrific conditions on her property, authorities announced on Wednesday, May 3.
Andrea DeCarlo, 33, was charged with three counts of animal cruelty for failing to provide necessary care for a horse, sheep, and ram, Warren County Prosecutor James L. Pfeiffer said.
The investigation arose following a tip from Animal Control involving a horse appearing to be neglected at the DeCarlo’s property on Montana Road in Washington.

Animal control officers who showed up to a Butler man's home to remove dogs ended up finding poisonous snakes and alligators, some of which had died, reports say.
Joseph Faris, 37, had the three American alligators, two caiman, a prairie rattlesnake, monocled cobra, Gaboon viper and puff adder in his Decker Road home because of his wife's business selling them, his attorney told NJ.com.
Officials obtained a search warrant for Faris' home last spring when they spotted a rattlesnake and alligator while removing four or five German Shepherds he wanted out of the house, NJ.com reports.
