Shark Bites PA Teen Surfing In NJ
A 15-year-old girl from Pennsylvania was bitten by a shark while surfing off the Jersey Shore, authorities said. The shark bite occurred off Stone Harbor's 109th Street Beach, around 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, Stone Harbor officials said. The injured surfer sustained several cuts to her left foot and calf, officials said. She received immediate onsite medical treatment from Stone Harbor Fire/Rescue. A 15-year-old girl is facing charges of attempted murder and armed robbery after stealing the sneakers of three people at gunpoint and firing at a group of people at a Central Jersey mall earlier this month. Two people were hospitalized following a serious Sunday morning crash in Hudson County, authorities said. A 19-year-old Union City man and a 15-year-old girl were heading north on Kennedy Boulevard in North Bergen in a Honda Accord when the vehicle struck several cars parked between 18th and 26th streets and crashed into a telephone pole just after 8 a.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Elizabeth Girl, 15, Leaving School Critical After Being Struck By Car
A 15-year-old girl was in critical condition after being struck by a car Tuesday in Elizabeth, authorities said. The teen was being picked up from school when she was struck around 1 p.m. at North Broad Street and North Avenue, City Spokeswoman Kelly A. Martins said. Teen Bicyclist Pinned Under Car, Airlifted In Union County Crash
A teenage boy was flown to the hospital after he was struck by a car and subsequently pinned under it in Fanwood Saturday morning. The 14-year-old was struck at the intersection of La Grande Avenue and Helen Street around 10:10 a.m., initial reports show. A teen bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a car Friday afternoon in Long Valley, initial reports say. The 15-year-old girl was crossing Schooleys Mountain Road in front of a car when the vehicle hit her, knocking her off the bike, Washington Township police Lt. Mark Niemynski said.
