Body Found In Water In Boonton [Developing]

UPDATE: Authorities have released details into Monday morning's body recovery in the Rockaway River.

A body was found in the water in Boonton Monday morning, according to developing reports.

The Boonton Police Department requested the local fire department to assist as the body was located at the water department facility on North Main Street around 9:40 a.m., initial and unconfirmed reports say.

The investigation was ongoing as of 11:30 a.m., a spokesperson for the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office told Daily Voice.
