One Man Airlifted, Another Injured After Deck Collapsed At Jersey Shore Home: Police
Two men were injured when the second-story deck of a home collapsed in Ocean County, authorities said. Long Beach police responded to the home on Arnold Boulevard at around 1:48 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, the department said in a Facebook post on Monday, July 15. Officers found an unresponsive man had been injured while falling from the collapsed deck. The man was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City Campus. Firefighters from multiple departments In Camden County battled a trucking company fire on Friday, July 5, authorities said. At approximately 3:30 p.m., Gloucester Township police observed heavy smoke at Marksmen Transport, 1900 Erial Road in Blackwood, they said. Officers located flames in the rear lot of the commercial business which were contained to several large box trailers and a truck, police said. A United States Postal Service worker was injured when his van caught fire in Atlantic County, officials said. Margate firefighters and police responded to the fire on Clarendon Avenue near Amherst Avenue at around 1:40 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, the fire department said in a Facebook post.
