Thief Wanted For Snatching 83-Year-Old Woman's Purse At Jersey Shore Supermarket Somers Point police were looking for a man who stole an elderly woman's purse at a supermarket, authorities said. Officers responded to the "strong-armed robbery" at the ACME Markets on New Road at around 10:50 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, the Somers Point Police Department said in a news release.
