Murder: Woman Found Dead In Car At NJ Motel, GA Man Charged, Prosecutor Says
A Georgia man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in a vehicle outside a Central Jersey hotel early Saturday, May 2, authorities said.
Keith Demery, 54, of Ellenwood, GA, was arrested in connection with the homicide, according to
Franklin Township officers were called at approximately 6 a.m. to a hotel on Davidson Avenue after Demery requested officers respond for a report of injuries, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said.
Officers arrived and met with Demery who directed them to his vehicle parked in the rear lot, McDonald said.

Man Held At Knifepoint At David's Cookies, Passaic Resident Arrested: Fairfield PD
A 24-year-old Passaic man was arrested and charged after he held a victim at knifepoint outside David's Cookies in Fairfield last week, authorities said.
At 9:40 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 16, a man arrived at David's Cookies at 28 Industrial Rd. when Danilo Suero parked next to him, entered his vehicle, placed a knife to his throat and threatened him, Fairfield police said.
The victim was able to record part of the interaction on video, police said. Suero then left the vehicle, police said.
Suero was allegedly not pleased with how the victim was treating one of his family members, police said.&…
Newark Man Robbed Pharmacy At Gunpoint: Feds
A 26-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged on Monday, Nov. 4, with robbing a pharmacy at gunpoint last year, authorities said.
On Saturday, Dec. 30, Nariq Petes and an accomplice drove to a pharmacy wearing black masks, US Attorney Phillip Sellinger said. Once inside the pharmacy, Petes brandished a handgun and demanded prescription drugs, Sellinger said. Petes and his conspirator took at least six bottles of prescription medication, Sellinger said.
