Clifton Student Made Bomb, Shooting, Death Threats That Were 'Highly Specific,' Police Say  A 17-year-old Clifton High School student has been arrested and charged with making multiple violent threats targeting students, staff, and the school itself, authorities said. Detectives from the Clifton Police Juvenile Division arrested the teen male on Monday, Feb. 3, following an investigation into four reported incidents between Jan. 27 and Jan. 29, Clifton Police Lt. NJ Town's Mayor Charged In High School Parking Lot Incident The mayor of one New Jersey town is facing weapons offenses for an incident that happened in a high school parking lot, police said. Linwood police released a statement saying only that Erland V. Chau, 72, was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose stemming from an incident in the Mainland Regional High School on Oct. 1.  Chau is the mayor of Northfield.
