Cops ID Victim, Suspected Gunman In Deadly Paterson Shooting Police have made an arrest in a Paterson shooting that left a 41-year-old man dead over Labor Day Weekend. Daquann Barnes, 37, of Paterson, is believed to have shot and killed Raheem Porter, who was found lying face down at Auburn and Ellison streets on Saturday, Aug. 31 around 2:45 a.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. 4-Year-Old Stabbed Multiple Times In Paterson, Prosecutor Says A 4-year-old child was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed multiple times in Paterson Friday, Aug. 23, authorities said. The incident happened near East 24th Street and 10th Avenue just after 4 p.m., Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi said. The victim was immediately taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment and has been admitted and is in stable condition. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
