Five teenagers were arrested and charged this week in Bayonne after they beat a juvenile into unconsciousness on Tuesday, Oct. 22, authorities said.
At 2:54 p.m., Educarray McGhie, 18, a 15-year-old, two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old knocked the victim to the ground and repeatedly kicked and stomped on his body and head, Bayonne police said.

Three 13-Year-Olds Arrested After Making Threats Against Schools In Newark: Police
Three 13-year-olds, two boys and a girl were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 26 after making threats against schools in Newark, authorities said.
The threats were intercepted by police, leading to their arrest, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said.
The three teenagers each face charges of terroristic threats, cyber harassment, creating a false public alarm, and harassment, Fragé said.
Police are actively seeking a fourth juvenile male in connection with this incident, Fragé said.

At 2:30 p.m., police responded to 124 West Third Street and found John "Johnny" Dominguez, 17, unresponsive inside an apartment after being shot in the torso, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The boy was pronounced dead soon after, Suarez said.

Two Jersey City teens were apprehended and one remains at large after being pursued by police while driving a stolen vehicle in Secaucus on the early morning of Monday, July 8, authorities said.
At 2:42 a.m., police spotted a 2018 Jeep Wrangler that had been stolen from Jersey City last month at a gas station on Route 3, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said. When police converged on the stolen car, the driver, a 15-year-old, intentionally rammed two occupied Secaucus police vehicles, injuring one officer, Miller said.
