A Newark man with a history of burglaries has been arrested in connection with a commercial burglary in Bloomingdale that happened after business hours late last month, police said. Bloomingdale officers responded to a business within the borough on Monday, Dec. 29, after receiving a report of a commercial burglary, Sgt. Sami Zaldan said. Someone broke into the closed business and rummaged through several areas of the establishment, including the cash register. A Long Island man accused of driving drunk in a deadly Garden State Parkway crash has been captured nearly 15 years after he jumped bail and became a fugitive, authorities said.
