2 Hours, 6 Armed Robberies: Newark Gunman Arrested In Paterson Crime Spree, Police Say A 25-year-old Newark man was arrested after committing a string of armed robberies in Paterson on Sunday, Oct. 6, authorities said. Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., the Paterson Police Department said they received multiple calls regarding six different robberies that occurred in the vicinity of Summer Street, 22nd Avenue, Main Street, Paterson Avenue, and McBride Avenue.  In all of the robberies the suspect, later identified as Justin Rodriguez, brandished a semi-automatic handgun and demanded valuables from the victims, authorities said. Man Smashing Windshields At Wayne Diner With Rocks Spits On 3 Arresting Officers: Cops A 27-year-old West Milford man was arrested for throwing rocks and smashing windows of parked cars at a Wayne diner, including a police car, and spit on arresting officers, authorities said. Evan R. Gonzalez was found walking along Hamburg Turnpike by Wayne officers responding to Park Wayne Diner around 6:40 p.m. Saturday, July 13, Capt.
