Woman Charged With DWI After NJ Transit Train Hits Empty Vehicle In Central Jersey A Long Branch woman was accused of driving while intoxicated after an empty vehicle was struck by a New Jersey Transit train, authorities said. North Jersey Coast Line train No. 4384 hit an unoccupied vehicle in Long Branch at around 8:59 p.m. on Monday, June 3, an NJ Transit spokesperson said. The vehicle was struck at the Cedar Avenue crossing between the Long Branch and Elberon stations. On Sunday, June 2, at approximately 8:40 a.m., Lawrence Township Police Department received multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting that a vehicle had crashed into the building of Worldwide Floor Covering at 2750 Brunswick Pike in Lawrenceville.
