A Ewing man died and another man was injured in an early morning shooting outside a Trenton bar, authorities said. Kristoffer Givens, 47, was shot and killed outside Al-Lee’s Bar and Lounge on Dickinson Street, Mercer County Prosecutor Theresa Hilton said in a news release. A Forked River woman was accused of driving drunk when she hit another woman standing behind her parked car, authorities said. Kathleen Colaio, 44, was charged with driving while intoxicated, the Lacey Township Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, Dec. 3. New Jersey hospitals are among the safest in the nation, according to the fall 2024 Hospital Safety Grade report from The Leapfrog Group. A Wildwood woman died after an early morning crash on the Garden State Parkway in Port Republic, authorities said. Audrey McCash, 75, was killed in the crash on Saturday, Sept. 28, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the wreck near milepost 46.6 on the southbound side of the parkway at around 12:26 a.m. Investigators said a Subaru Outback went off the parkway and struck several trees. Driver Airlifted After Crashing SUV Into Jersey Shore Home On Labor Day, Police Say
A driver was airlifted after crashing into a home in New Egypt on Labor Day, authorities said. Plumsted police, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the crash at the intersection of Brindletown Road and Front Street early in the evening on Monday, Sept. 2, the township said in a Facebook post. The driver was the only person in the SUV and was taken by helicopter to a hospital. No one was in the home during the crash. A motorcyclist escaped serious injury after she crashed in Jackson on Friday afternoon, July 26, authorities said. Two females were found having suffered gunshot wounds on Roosevelt Avenue around 9 a.m., and were airlifted to area hospitals, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Carteret Police Chief Dennis McFadden said.
