Man Pleads Guilty In Toms River Drive-By Shooting: Prosecutor A 20-year-old Toms River man pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Jan. 21 to shooting another man in the leg last June, authorities said. On Wednesday, June 12 at 11:30 p.m., Toms River police responded to a residence on Adams Avenue and found a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said.  The victim was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for treatment of his injuries; he was treated and subsequently released, Billhimer said. Toms River Man Accused Of Shooting Another Man In Leg, Prosecutors Say A Toms River man was accused of shooting another man in the leg, authorities said. Anthony Brown, 20, was arrested on Thursday, June 13, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said in a news release. He was facing charges in a late-night shooting on Wednesday, June 12. Toms River police responded to a report of a gunshot victim at a home on Adams Avenue at around 11:30 p.m. They found a 24-year-old man with a wound on his leg.
