Pichnarcik died on Wednesday, Nov. 6, following a brave fight against a long-term illness, according to his department and his obituary on the Allwood Funeral Home website.  Officer Pichnarcik, who served the Clifton community with pride and commitment since joining in 2006, was known for his warm spirit, reliability, and the unwavering support he offered his fellow officers. Voters Nationally Prefer Harris Over Trump, FDU Poll Finds Voters nationally prefer Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris over her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, a brand-new survey by Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey shows. The seven-point margin (50 to 43) is largely due to race and gender, the FDU poll shows. He was going for an FBI agent, but while growing up in Rutherford and meeting his friends' parents and coaches who were police officers, he decided to switch gears. Twenty-six years into his law enforcement career, and 11 years in his role as Rutherford Police Chief, Russo has been sworn in to a one-year term as the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police's 109th president.
