A 30-year-old Somerset County resident was arrested and charged on Friday, July 12, with possessing child pornography, authorities said. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notified the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office involving the uploading of child sexual abuse material by Allana Arrieta, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said. A Somerset County man is facing theft charges after manipulating his employer's payroll and employee reimbursement systems to steal $1.2 million over the course of several years, authorities in Bergen County said. Staten Island Motorcyclist, 27, Killed In Route 287 Crash
A 27-year-old motorcyclist from Staten Island died in a weekend crash on Route 287 in Somerset County, authorities said. Durmish Golesh was heading north on a Kawasaki when he rear-ended a Hyundai, overturned, and struck the back of an Infiniti around 11:25 a.m. on Saturday, June 15 in Far Hills, New Jersey State Police Sgt. A 27-year-old Allentown, PA man was arrested and charged with a 2023 armed robbery in North Plainfield, NJ, authorities said.
