New details have been released in an Ocean County crash that left two cars severely mangled and both drivers seriously injured on Thursday, Jan. 8. Troy Sullivan, 62, of Absecon, was heading south on County Route 539 when he crossed the centerline and struck a 54-year-old Hamilton driver head-on around 5:25 p.m. near milepost 26, Manchester police said in a news release. A four-vehicle crash on Route 70 left one man critical the day after a fatal accident caused by a wrong-way DUI driver on the same roadway, officials said. The collision occurred on Saturday, Dec. 28, around 8:30 a.m., when a Volkswagen Mini Van struck a Hyundai Sonata from behind at a red traffic signal near Duquesne Boulevard, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. A Farmingdale man admitted to trying to kidnap a teen girl and groping a woman in a Target parking lot during a two-county crime spree, authorities said.
