Services Set For Woodland Park Teen Nicola Colangelo, Football Player Killed Riding Bicycle Services have been scheduled for Nicola Domenico Colangelo, the 14-year-old boy who was tragically killed while riding his bicycle on Monday, March 10. A lifelong resident of Woodland Park, Nicola was a freshman at Passaic Valley High School. According to his obituary on the Santangelo Funeral Home website, Nicola participated in the Woodland Park recreational basketball and baseball teams, the travel basketball team, and the Totowa Tigers football team. Here's Livestream For Gaudreau Brothers' PA Funeral A funeral service for brothers Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau is underway. The brothers were struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver while riding their bicycles on Aug. 29 in New Jersey. The service began at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at  St Mary Magdalen's Church in Media, PA.  Police said that the event will cause major impacts to traffic.

Mugshot Released: Suspected NJ Drunk Driver Who Killed Johnny, Matthew Gaudreau The mugshot was released for the Woodstown man accused of driving drunk, killing an NHL star and his brother. The Salem County Correctional Facility released the mugshot of 43-year-old Sean Higgins to Newsweek. Higgins was charged with two counts of death by auto in the Thursday, Aug. 29 crash that killed Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau. Johnny, 31, played for the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Calgary Flames. NHL Star, Brother Killed By Drunk Driver In South Jersey Before Sister's Wedding, Troopers Say An NHL star and his brother from Salem County were killed by a suspected drunk driver one day before their sister's wedding, authorities said. Johnny Gaudreau of Carneys Point and Matthew Gaudreau of Pedricktown died on Thursday, Aug. 29, a state police spokesperson confirmed to Daily Voice. Troopers responded to the crash near milepost 11.1 on County Route 551 in Oldmans Township at around 8:19 p.m. Sean Higgins of Woodstown was accused of driving drunk during the crash. NJ Town Mayor Calls For Improvements After 8-Year-Old Killed Riding Bike Avyaan Gupta was riding his bicycle in Parsippany when he was struck by a vehicle and killed block from his home on Tuesday, July 9. He was eight years old. At 5:34 p.m., Avyaan was struck by a 2022 Mazda CX5 traveling in the area of 189 Littleton Road, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Parsippany –Troy Hills Police Chief Richard Pantina said.  Gupta was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
