The officers were called to the rescue scene near Blair Falls on Main Street to help the fawn, who had gotten “trapped in the stream" around 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, the department said.
With bystanders’ help and oversight, the fawn was rescued and brought to safety.
The clip shows an officer jumping into the water and grabbing the struggling fawn, who can be heard bleating as bystanders give their 'aww's of relief.
“Thank you to all who helped!” Blairstown Police said.
