Three people were hospitalized following a serious four-car crash at a Pennsylvania toll plaza on Route 78, state police said. Officers at the Belfast station responded to the crash at lane two of the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission on Route 78 westbound near milepost 76.0 in Williams Township (Northampton County) just before 8:40 a.m. on Sunday, June 26. A third-alarm fire ravaged a Lehigh Valley apartment building that was under construction, authorities said. The fire broke out at a three-story building on the 3100 block of Charlotte Avenue in Palmer Township on Monday afternoon. A 49-year-old pickup truck driver from Virginia was found with nearly a pound and a half of cocaine after being stopped on Route 78 in Northampton County for a traffic violation Tuesday, reports say.
