Smiley PA Driver Charged With DUI
A Pennsylvania man didn't seem too upset about his recent arrest based on his mugshot Jonathan Shaffer, of Phoenixville, beams in the photo after West Chester police charged him for DUI. Shaffer, 25, was pulled over around 2:30 a.m. on May 3, when police saw spotted him driving erratically on the 400 Block of E. Market St. in the city, they said. Shaffer showed signs of impairment, and following an investigation, he was charged with impaired driving. A preliminary hearing was pending at District Court 15-1-04.

A 56-year-old Chester County teacher has been accused of sexually abusing an elementary school student for two years, authorities announced. Luis Morales, 56, of West Chester, abused the 3rd and 4th grade student between 2014 and 2016 while at Nottingham Elementary School in Oxford, DA Deb Ryan said. A high school senior and Taco Bell employee in Cumberland County won the national Taco Bell scholarship contest, according to the company’s foundation’s website. Emma Seibert, of Enola works at the Taco Bell on Market Place Way and earlier this week she find out that she won the biggest scholarship her employer offers.
