Illegal Firearms, Magazines Found In Response To Domestic Incident In Blairstown: Prosecutor
A 53-year-old Blairstown man was arrested and hit with numerous weapons charges after police discovered numerous illegal firearms in his residence, authorities said. On Tuesday, Jan. 16, Blairstown police responded to a domestic violence incident at 99 Mohican Road, Warren County Prosecutor James Pfeiffer said. William Pollard was charged with domestic violence and a temporary restraining order was issued, Pfeiffer said. Texas Trucker Busted With 300 Pounds Of Pot On Route 80: Prosecutor
A 42-year-old truck driver from Texas was arrested on Route 80 in Warren County on Tuesday, Jan. 23 after police discovered he was carrying 301 lbs. of marijuana, authorities said. State Police at the Knowlton Weigh Station discovered the massive haul after they obtained a search warrant following a commercial vehicle inspection, Warren County Prosecutor James Pfeiffer said. The National Weather Service has released snow totals from the latest winter storm. In New Jersey, the most amount of snow from the Friday, Jan. 19 storm appears to have fallen in Hopewell Township (Cumberland County) and Mount Royal (Gloucester County), where 6.5 inches of snow were reported. Men Who Passed Counterfeit $100 Bills Sought In Warren County
Two men passed counterfeit $100 bills at two local businesses in Warren County last month, Washington Township police said. Washington Township Police are attempting to locate the two unidentified Black men and said other agencies throughout the state have seen the same men passing counterfeit $100 bills. "If you work for or own a small business, please use caution when accepting larger bills," Washington Township police said on Facebook. These NJ Towns Got The Most Rain In This Week's Storm: NWS
Yet another December rain storm has come and gone, leaving many New Jersey towns under water. According to the National Weather Service's Philadelphia/Mount Holly office, between one and three inches of rain fell across the area, ending early Thursday, Dec. 28.
