A vehicle apparently landed entirely "up in the air in a tree" after its driver veered off a Morris County road and into the woods Tuesday night, responders said. The accident occurred near Woodland Road and Cold Hill Road in Mendham Township around 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, according to the Brookside Engine Company. Crews found the vehicle “into the woods up in the air on a tree” before stabilizing it and securing its battery for removal. Arrest Announced In Theft Of 10 Range Rovers Worth $740,000 From Paramus Dealership
Paramus police on Friday announced an arrest in the thefts of 10 Range Rovers worth a combined $740,000 from a local dealership last summer. The vehicles were snatched after a lock on a security gate was cut open and a key taken from a lockbox at Jaguar Land Rover of Paramus on southbound Route 17 shortly after 4:30 a.m. last Sept. 7, Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said. Car Overturns In Bridgewater
Firefighters rushed to the scene of an overturned vehicle over the weekend in Bridgewater. The vehicle flipped on Chimney Rock Road around 4:30 p.m., below the dam in the S curves. No serious injuries were reported and the car was towed from the scene. The Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department, Martinsville Rescue Squad and the Bridgewater Township Police Department responded.
