Warren County Man Threw Firework Out Of Car Window: Prosecutor A 42-year-old Warren County man was arrested and charged after he threw a firework out of a car window on Monday, Sept. 2. At 10:21 p.m., the Phillipsburg and Pohatcong Township Police Departments responded to 513 Third Ave. in Alpha Borough on a report of a man, later identified as Mark Pearson, throwing an explosive type firework out of his vehicle window, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said.  Pearson was arrested by the Phillipsburg Police Department and charged with unlawful possession of a destructive device, contempt of court, disorderly conduct, and a weapons charge,…

Feds Bust South Jersey Man With Homemade Explosives Federal agents busted a South Jersey man with do-it-yourself explosive devices and the materials used to make them, authorities said. Among various other items, Thomas Petronglo, 63, of Vineland had a 5¾-inch diameter metal can filled with potassium perchlorate and aluminum with a fuse sticking out, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said Thursday. The mixture is commonly used in commercial fireworks displays.
