Truck Loaded With Water Waste Overturns On Route 80:

A tractor trailer filled with water waste overturned on Route 80 in Warren County on the early morning of Sunday, March 19, authorities said. At 12:44 a.m., a Kenworth truck was traveling eastbound on Route 80 in Knowlton Township when the driver lost directional control and overturned, Troy McNair, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital, McNair said. The crash remains under investigation, McNair said.

Two State Troopers Injured During Traffic Stop On Route 78:

Two state troopers were hospitalized after their vehicle was struck during a traffic stop in Hunterdon County on the early morning of Sunday, Feb. 25, state police said. At 2:50 a.m., troopers were conducting a motor vehicle stop on the right shoulder of Route 78 west in Readington Township when the driver of a Toyota lost directional control and sideswiped the police car, Troy McNair, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. The troopers sustained minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital, McNair said. The crash remains under investigation, McNair said.

The teenage son of a Glen Rock councilwoman who's also a BergenPAC administrator remained hospitalized with severe injuries following a weekend car crash. Teddy Martin, 18, reportedly suffered a broken tibia and femur, as well as kidney and spleen lacerations, in the collision in Alexandria, NJ shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24. Martin was making a left from Whitehead Road onto Everittstown Road (Route 513) less than a mile from the Pittstown border when his Nissan collided with a Jeep, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said.
