Million-Dollar Winner: Scratch-Off Sold At Trenton Wawa Wins Big Prize
A scratch-off lottery ticket worth $1 million was purchased at a convenience store in Mercer County, officials said.
The $1,000,000 Platinum Payout scratch-off was sold at the Wawa on Flock Road in Trenton, the New Jersey Lottery said in a news release on Monday, Oct. 28.
Each ticket costs $20 and the $1 million prize is the game's largest. The winner was bought at the gas station near the intersection with Quakerbridge Road on Thursday, Oct. 24.

Aaron Curry, who has worked at the Sunoco in Mahwah for 30 years, has had a rough time recently.
Curry developed an illness, which led to him getting in a car crash last month and he has been hospitalized ever since. With insurance not covering most of his expenses, a fundraiser has been created to assist him. As of Tuesday, July 18, almost $13,000 has been raised.

Two Hospitalized In Route 46 Gas Station Stabbings: Palisades Park PD
UPDATE: Two Palisades Park men were hospitalized and a third jailed following an overnight stabbing at a Route 46 gas station, authorities said.
Both victims were confronted by Gerberth E. Fuentes, 19, outside the convenience store of the Sunoco station on eastbound Route 46 before dawn Monday, Jan. 30, Sgt. George Beck said.
It's unclear what precipitated the argument.
Fuentes stabbed one victim, 20, with a folding knife in the right hip and back, and the other, 18, in the right leg, Beck said.

Drunk Route 206 Hit-Run Driver Nabbed Behind Wheel Of Sparking Car In Morris County, Police Say
A Morris County man was drunk when he fled the scene of a Route 206 crash in his damaged, sparking vehicle Sunday night, authorities said.
Mario Prisco Jr., 44, was stopped at Sunoco on Route 206 in Flanders just before 9:15 p.m. after a witness reported seeing him driving a sparking car with three wheels, Mount Olive police said.
Prisco, of Flanders, was determined to be intoxicated and subsequently failed a series of field sobriety tests, authorities said.
A follow-up investigation found that he had been involved in a prior accident on Route 206, police said.

Police: Stolen Car Driver Surrenders, Then Attacks Wallington Officers
A Newark woman caught behind the wheel of a stolen car urged police to arrest her, then later turned on the officers, authorities in Wallington said.
It began when a witness at the Sunoco station on Locust Avenue pointed Officer Szymon Popek toward a rental car with heavy front-end damage, Capt. Shawn Kudlacik said.
The driver, identified as Jasmine Fletcher, 27, of Newark, got out of the vehicle after Popek stopped her moments later, Kudlacik said.
