Parts of the Northeast will see up to a half-foot of snow from an Alberta Clipper that will sweep through from west to east on Christmas Eve. On Monday, Dec. 23, expect mostly sunny skies with temperatures around freezing. Clouds will increase at night as the system moves in. : Heavy Snowfall Causes Roof Collapse At Popular Lehigh Valley Bowling Alley
The roof of a Lehigh Valley bowling alley caved in due to snow accumulation Tuesday morning, causing severe damage, officials said. Police responding to a burglary alarm at Hampton Lanes on Main Street in Northampton found that the roof had completely collapsed just after 5 a.m., according to the county’s emergency alerts page.
