Ford Driver Suffers Medical Emergency Following Morris County Crash: State Police
A Ford driver suffered a medical emergency following a crash on Route 287 in Morris County, state police said. A Ford Fusion was struck by a tractor-trailer in the southbound lanes near milepost 30.8 in Harding just after 5:05 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told DailyVoice.com. The tractor-trailer then left the scene, Curry said. The Ford driver was not hurt in the crash but suffered a brief medical emergency, police said. The driver refused treatment and drove away from the scene of the crash. Additional details were not released.

Truck Tire Explosion ‘Sends Rubber Flying’ Into Fire Engine As Crews Douse Route 287 Blaze
The back tire of a smoldering truck exploded and hit the responding fire crew’s vehicle on Route 287 in Morris County, authorities said. The Riverdale Fire Department’s incident commander had just arrived at the scene of the blaze in the northbound lanes between Route 23 and the Hamburg Turnpike when one of the smoldering truck’s back tires exploded and “[sent] rubber flying into the side of his vehicle” just after 4:05 p.m. Sunday, the department confirmed on Facebook Thursday. A tractor-trailer collided with an NPR truck Thursday morning, temporarily closing one lane and scattering debris along Route 287 in Morris County, state police said. The trailer collided with an Isuzu NPR truck in the northbound lanes near milepost 36.8 in Morristown just before 8:25 a.m., NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. Driver Hospitalized, Route 287 Ramp Closed Following Morris County Tractor-Trailer Crash
A tractor-trailer driver was hospitalized in a crash that shut down a ramp on Route 287 in Morris County Thursday morning, state police said. The driver lost control of the truck, hit a curb and overturned on the northbound ramp at Exit 35 in Morristown just before 6:20 a.m., NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told Daily Voice. The driver was taken to Morristown Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Curry said. The ramp remained closed as of 10 a.m. for the tractor-trailer removal, authorities said.
