The election clock was ticking as the Jan. 6 committee unanimously voted to subpoena former President Donald Trump to testify about his role in the storming of the U.S. Capitol last year. An anti-racism group wants a newly-elected New Jersey borough councilman to quit or apologize for wearing blackface in a 2015 photo depicting him in blackface shared on Facebook. New Jersey will remain a blue state: Joe Biden claimed the Garden State's 14 electoral votes in his bid for the White House, according to the Associated Press. Meanwhile, U.S. Sen.
