Summer Sheldrick said on Facebook Meep was let out to use the bathroom at 12:15 a.m. on New Year's Day on Budd Street in Morristown, but she got spooked by fireworks, got loose and ran off.  Sheldrick said by the time she realized Meep was loose, she was already far gone. The 25-year-old Clinton resident began working at animal shelters when she was 12 years old, and currently has eight other foster pets at home. But when staffers heard saw movement and heard cries coming from a backpack on a conveyor belt at the Burlington County Recycling Center, they knew this wasn't trash.
