Huntedon County 25-Year-Old Woman Killed In Icy Crash On I-295, PA State Police Say A 25-year-old woman was killed and a man was seriously injured after a crash on Interstate 295 Eastbound in Middletown Township, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Jan. 28. The crash happened around 8:52 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, at mile marker 5.7 of I-295 Eastbound, according to state police. Deadly Tractor-Trailer Crash Shuts Part Of I-78 A deadly crash involving a tractor-trailer closed parts of I-78 Sunday, July 23 in Lehigh County. The crash occurred on the westbound side near mile maker 47.6 in Upper Macungie Township around 1:30 p.m., according to the PennDOT website. A male was pronounced dead at the scene, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. All westbound lanes were closed as traffic was redirected. Pennsylvania State Police were investigating.

The William Penn Highway exit will close for an emergency repair at 7 p.m. and will remain closed for at least 24 hours, Bethlehem Township Police said. All northbound traffic will be diverted off the William Penn Highway exit to the traffic signal.
